Dr Nick Osborne is an epidemiologist and toxicologist. He has experience in epidemiology studies examining the complex genetic and environmental aetiology of disease. Until July 2015 Nick was working at the ECEHH at the University of Exeter. He is a Project Investigator for MEDMI.
He is currently a Senior Research Fellow in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Sydney. He is currently involved with studies examining pesticide poisonings in Australian and Sri Lanka, spatial and temporal trends in envenomation in Australia, environmental risk factors for chronic kidney disease and the relationship between exposure to pollen and health outcomes. In the past he has worked on projects examining Meniere’s disease, indoor fungi and health outcomes, solar irradiance and immune health and food allergy in a paediatric cohort. His PhD examined the toxicology of cyanobacteria.
