Dr Anna Cichowska is a Consultant in Public Health Strategy at Public Health England (PHE) in London, where she currently provides strategic leadership for the national Antimicrobial Resistance Programme. Previously she also held the responsibility for the Sustainability Programme (including health effects of climate change and extreme events).
She is a co-Project Investigator on the MEDMI research project and is responsible for PHE’s contribution to the project.
Anna trained as a medical doctor in The Netherlands, and completed her Public Health Medicine specialisation in the UK. She has clinical and public health experience in rural South-Africa and Australia, and at World Health Organization in Geneva. She holds a special interest in European Public Health.
